Proud to share Dr. Blessing Ojembe work examining how racialized older adults (ROAs) in Canada experience and express social isolation and loneliness. Using critical discourse analysis and critical race theory, I explored the language used by ROAs when discussing their LSI experiences. The findings call for more nuanced, culturally responsive approaches to support thriving later-life experiences for of ROAs.
